Styling guide

Color Palette

Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully outdoors. Creams, tans, soft browns, sage, muted blues, and warm grays work especially well. Think coordinated rather than matching.

What to Avoid

Please try to avoid bold patterns, logos, neon colors, or large graphics, as they can be distracting in photos.

Comfort Is Key

Choose outfits that allow you (and especially little ones) to move comfortably. When everyone feels good, the photos feel natural and relaxed.

Shoes Matter

Neutral footwear photographs best. Simple boots, sandals, or clean sneakers are great options.

Hair & Makeup

Soft, natural hair and makeup styles tend to photograph best. If hair is worn down, light styling can help prevent flyaways.

Most importantly — don’t stress. I’ll guide you throughout the session and focus on creating a calm, enjoyable experience that highlights your family’s connection.
